Make great frozen blender "frappe chino" drinks at home using our Holy Chocolate smoothie recipe. A bit of whipped cream on top is a good finishing touch.
Gives you a reason to fire up your Blender Ninja-Vitamix-Oster-Blendtec
Hey if you have one of the Ninja-Vitamix-Oster-Blendtec's then now's the time to give it a workout
Recipe:
Ingredients
1 packet or scoop of Holy Chocolate (1/4-1/3 Cup)
5 ounces cold whole milk or hot coffee
12 ounces ice
Optional ingredients
1 banana
1 chocolate sandwich-style cookie
1 tablespoon peanut butter
whey powder - adds to creaminess and thickness. Also some nice protein.
Directions
- Pour the milk into the blender and add the Holy Chocolate. Add any additional ingredients.
- Blend for 20 seconds
- Add ice and blend until smooth.
Makes 1 serving
Calories (no optional ingredients)
210 calories if made with coffee
300 calories if made with milk
